Obama Gambles His Presidency on Entitlements
The president’s talking about changing Medicare and Social Security to end the debt standoff. He thinks the voters are ready for grownup talk on entitlements—but Jack Germond says others have made that bet and lost.
The recent budget battle for public consumption brought out high political theater and the usual well fed herds of bovine shouting their ignorance for all the world to see. Some of the loudest manure defecated by the vast herds of cattle focused on making sure the Outlaw Congress continues to fund murdering unborn babies and "women's issues" was propped up by males who lie through their teeth because their very paycheck depends on my wallet (and yours)
"In lobbying for defeat of a congressional plan that would cut off taxpayer support for the abortion business' leading player, Richards claimed: "If this bill ever becomes law, millions of women in this country are going to lose their health-care access not to abortion services to basic family planning, you know, mammograms." But Live Action workers who called 30 Planned Parenthood business locations across the nation said "every single one admitted they could not do mammograms."
I will never have a mammogram, but having one is a personal decision and expense. The Outlaw Congress has NO authority to steal the fruits of your labor to fund abortions or mammograms.
Spineless, sissy boy, Sen. Harry Reid, proclaimed he would shut down the General Government if the Outlaw Congress didn't vote to continue breaking the law by funding the vile Planned Parenthood and their abortion mills. Morally depraved, Sen. Chuck Schumer, said that "we" will "never, never, never" defund Planned Parenthood! Blow a rod, Chuckie?
This short video hosted by the most vacuous female cable host on the boob tube, Joy Behar, demonstrates the absolute stupidity of Americans regarding the U.S. Constitution. Behar proclaimed Planned Parenthood could save your life with a cervical cancer test. Jerry Springer was one of her guests who spouted off how important PP is for women. I suppose he's an expert since his television show broadcasts some of the filthiest and most degrading behavior by women ever seen on the public air waves.
Having a test for cervical cancer is a personal expense. The Outlaw Congress has NO authority to steal the fruits of your labor to pay for one. Last year (as cited in the first link above), PP was illegally given $363 MILLION BORROWED dollars stolen from we the people. Yes, borrowed dollars because the congressionally created "national debt" was slightly over $13 TRILLION dollars. As stated in a press release by Concerned Women for America: "That's almost one million dollars per day Americans are spending to prop up a leftist organization with profits of $63 million."
The herds of grazing cattle who only raise their heads when abortion funding is threatened are too stupid to understand that million borrowed dollars a day gets slapped right back at them in higher taxes.
"How many times have we heard female politicians bleat about "women's issues" during elections? How many times have we heard the old chant about "empowering women" from female members of Congress? The feminization of Congress and our state legislatures is destroying constitutional government, running America into oceans of unpayable debt and breeding generations of helpless women, whining for mother government to take care of them and their every need.

The resultant laws have saddling all of us with unpayable debt."
The legions of females out there are herded in the desired direction with promises of stealing from the people's treasury for their wants and needs. All those "independent, strong women" are nothing but whiners demanding the fruits of your labor. Real women take care of the babies they bring into this world. Real women know that family planning means keep your panties on and being a responsible adult. Strong, independent women do not demand mother government steal from taxpayers to fund their personal lives. Strong and independent? Horsecrap. Strong, independent women do not demand someone else pay their way whether it's health care, day care or "basic family planning."

Title X is the only federal grant program dedicated solely to providing individuals with comprehensive family planning and related preventive health services. The Title X program is designed to provide access to contraceptive services, supplies and information to all who want and need them. By law, priority is given to persons from low-income families.
"The Title X Family Planning program is administered within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, Office of Population Affairs (OPA) by the Office of Family Planning (OFP). In fiscal year 2010, Congress appropriated approximately $317 million for family planning activities supported under Title X. At least 90 percent of the appropriation is used for clinical family planning services as described in the statute and regulations (45 CFR Part 59).
"In calendar year 2010, 90 Title X grantees provided family planning services to more than five million women and men through a network of more than 4,500 community-based clinics that include State and local health departments, tribal organizations, hospitals, university health centers, independent clinics, community health centers, faith-based organizations, and other public and private nonprofit agencies. In approximately 75% of U.S. counties, there is at least one clinic that receives Title X funds and provides services as required under the Title X statute."
Here's a clue for the clue less like Joy Behar and the rest of the whining gimmee-gimmee females in this country led on by Marxists like Nancy Pelsoi, Hillary Clinton and illegal alien, Rep. Loretta Sanchez: Just because the Outlaw Congress passes a "law" doesn't mean it's constitutional. Go read the U.S. Constitution. No where does it authorize the U.S. Congress (Art. 1, Sec. 8) to steal from the public treasury to fund "Title X" OR v this putrid rape:

USAID (United States Aid for International Development) is an illegal agency under the U.S. Constitution. Is $3.50 a gallon gas hurting your budget? Having trouble making your house payment? Can't afford dental care for your children? Every penny stolen from you via the IRS goes to pay down the congressionally created "national debt" with the rest going for what is called transfer payments. That means the fruits of your labor are stolen to illegally rob the people's purse to provide "family planning" to countries around the world. Is that what you work for everyday? I guess it doesn't bother most Americans because they reelected 82% of the same career politicians in November 2010 who have allowed this illegal funding to continue.
If your member of the Outlaw Congress (just like the constitutionally challenged political career animal who "represents" me, Randy Neugebauer) voted for one penny for Title X,they have violated their oath of office and the law of the land. Of course, that means nothing to tens of millions of Americans with their hands out for "government money". Well, Uncle Sugar's teat is running on bankruptcy.

The U.S. Constitution was ratified on September 17, 1787 in Philadelphia
(Mar. 11, 2011) — Momentum, now there’s a strange animal. Invariably, long after the dead have been buried and those wounded either healed or removed from sight, the truth of what sparked the conflict becomes known, or at least speculated on, until the cows have long been put to rest. Sometime a flicker of truth shines through, though most times it’s one parrot squawking at another, saying the same thing over and over until even they start believing the lies that they are telling one another. “Oh! Fort Sumter has been shelled. Isn’t it just glorious?!” Actually, no it’s not.
True, the payback was devastating, but not as bad as it could’ve been. Had Lincoln caved in, had he accepted a house divided (as he was being pressured from every direction, from friends and even his own political party) the world would be a far different place than it is now, and not for the better, I believe. Who can know the outcome of World War I without an united America? But the Republic was saved, and in the end, after many, many thousands of brave young men were removed from our gene pool, after Shiloh and Gettysburg, Argonne and Belleau Wood, Iwo Jima and Omaha Beach, Bloody Ridge and Pusan, Khe Sanh and Chu Lai, Baghdad and Kabul, after all of that, after all of our dead, the Constitution remained intact. Utterly amazing.
Until 2008. All one Secretary of State had to do, one out of fifty, was to vet the presidential candidates. None of them did that. Not one. Had they done so, Obama never would have been on the ballot. Yet none were fired; imagine that. Everyone who had a hand in putting this yo-yo in office and keeping him there has broken the law. They face a felony conviction. I mean jail time. Bye-bye, pension. Which is why they’re not going to give up without a fight.
Some falsified votes. Others destroyed records (passport, Selective Service, Social Security info, and so on). Members of law enforcement, F.B.I., C.I.A., Homeland Security, and others, are all looking at jail time because they knew the truth but kept quiet. Some, like faux Attorney General Eric Holder and members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are facing life in prison. Janet Napolitano, of Homeland Security, and all members of both political parties (such as Howard Dean and John McCain) who knew that Obama was, and is, a fraud will share the same fate. Just think of it: the 111th Congress that turned a blind eye to it all can convene in the exercise yard. Our media turncoats will be reporting on the latest gossip from the big house.
Trash. Low-life scum. After the many thousands of deaths of the best America had to offer to protect and defend the United States Constitution, along come these bums to try and grind our Constitution into the dirt.
Sorry, it ain’t going to happen. No way, shape, nor form. We’re taking over and you people are O-U-T. Gone forever. Permanently. You tried, you lost. The Constitution will remain intact.

The Washington Post, another endorser, noted that the president “kicks the hard choices further down the road.” Evan Thomas of Newsweek referred to the administration’s budget as “a profile in cowardice.”
Their frustration is late to the game, but the tardiness is to be expected. Editors have witnessed the early missteps of presidents before. The Oval Office requires growth, and seasoned editors exhibit the patience of those who’ve seen it all.
Last week, they had seen enough.
This president seems of another reality. He has hinted at giving states the option to increase payroll taxes — as unemployment nears 10%. Payroll taxes are what businesses pay to employ people. They provide an easy source of revenue for governments but act like a penalty for hiring people. Payroll taxes dictate not only how many people a company can afford to employ, but how much those workers are paid. At best, the president’s suggestion betrayed a fool’s understanding of commerce. At worst, it’s an overt attempt at fattening the unemployment rolls.
He followed this economic appetizer with a budget that sidesteps the challenges of our time; one that sits like a hemlock salad upon the table of the young. There was no substantive mention of entitlement reform. Not since James Buchanan has an American president so blatantly avoided the central domestic issue of his time. Constantly being off the point begs the question: Are there no adults at the president’s ear? Surely there must be someone the commander in chief finds agreeable, to say: America is losing an entire generation.
The young have been sacrificed upon an altar of indecision. No group is struggling in more ways that threaten America’s long-term viability. Yes, there are retirees concerned about their pensions. Yes, the unions are irate — in point of fact — because the public can no longer afford the deals won behind closed doors. By dismissing reason to satisfy ideology, the administration condemns America’s future. No one knows what events may come; there is no oracle prophesying what trials the next generation will face. The young deserve, at the least, to meet those trials free from crippling debt. Yet the administration’s budget seems to instead answer the question “Have you no shame?” Its architects had their time; they experienced the most prosperous period in human history and had their opportunities — they should now have the decency to give the next generation theirs.
Clean up this mess.
The young are the last to be hired, the first to be fired, and today watch as their 20s become a lost decade. They accept that they will never see a dime from the Social Security Trust. Social Security contributions have become just another tax — one in which the young are penalized for the crime of having a pulse.
To close the week, on February 18, The Washington Post reported that the White House’s political machine, Organizing for America, mobilized thousands of protestors in Madison, Wisconsin — an effort to sew civil unrest inside the United States.
This is a far cry from John F. Kennedy taking on the Teamsters; or Harry Truman — a New Dealer who enjoyed the support of unions — recognizing that his first responsibility was to the American public, and taking the United Mine Workers to court.
The administration does not have the maturity to make real budgetary choices. By organizing protests, they seek to punish those who do.

If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at only ten more (30 x 10 = 300)....and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)......and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!

These eight steps were written in 1787 by Professor Alexander Tyler. The United States was in the planning process of a young and fragile Democracy. So, this Professor took a look at the past and tried to map out the evolution of a Democracy. He determined a time line for these eight steps and an estimate of how long the process would take, 200 years. The Eight Steps
From Bondage to Spiritual Faith Do we forget how young of a nation we are? Europe had shaped and reshaped itself so many times before we were even put on a map. England ruled the young America, not with whips and chains, but with taxes. The people weren’t allowed to build a strong nation because all the money they made was sent back to England. In the beginning, they were cool with that. They were running from Europe so they would have the right to serve the God of their choosing and the manner in which they would serve that God. To them, at least in the beginning, the sacrifice was worth it. But that didn’t last long because Spiritual Faith is life altering.
From Spiritual Faith to Great Courage
Now, you have spiritual people who fully believe God has their best interest at heart and that translates into the building of courage. Not in just this case, but in every case. Once you let God into your life, you begin to feel like you can move mountains. When you trust and have faith, fear seems to melt away.
From Courage to Liberty This may seem funny but the courage you get from God makes you want to fight. O.K. maybe I didn’t say that right. The courage you get from God makes it impossible for you to allow someone to block your blessings. There, that’s better. Our founding fathers knew we could not prosper with England at the head of our lives. We had to be a nation that put God first, then country, then family. So NO! We will not bow to your Queen, we will not allow you to rob our country of it’s chance to be great, and no we will not allow you to dictate the lives of our children and grandchildren. We have God on our side and will fight for what we feel is right. And that’s what we did. We fought and won our independence, our freedom, and our Liberty.
From Liberty to Abundance
And once you put your faith in God and walk through the fire without fear, you receive your blessing. And can’t we all agree, America has been blessed. We sprouted from a young nation into a world leader in record time. Industry flourished, businesses developed, and the Economy became the envy and standard of the world. We fought amongst ourselves, defended our friends and allies, and built the strongest military force on the planet. We adjust and change our laws, while still adhering to the basic principles of our Constitution. But all this comes with a price.
From Abundance to Complacency
Complacency- self-satisfaction, especially when accompanied by unawareness of actual dangers and deficiencies I think this came around the time of the Great Depression. The New Deal. The belief started to creep in that we had the money to do anything. People were hurting and wanted immediate help, so they turned to the government and the government answered. We’re temporarily going to give out Social Security benefits, just to get people by until things get better. We’re going to set up Medicaid and Medicare to help the underprivileged and elderly, who just can’t afford healthcare. These are just temporary steps to get us through these hard times. When did they end Social Security? They didn’t. No politician is going to advocate taking services from the poor and the old. Plus, now government has a huge money supply from all the taxes they collect for Social Security. Great way to get money from you to borrow against for other Government projects. As the government continued to grow, so did it’s hold on the mind of the American people.
From Complacency to Apathy
Apathy- lack of interest or concern; indifference Now, we believe we can not fail. We pushed the Nazi’s back and crushed Russia, what could go wrong? The age of drugs spread through America and people stopped caring. It was better to protest than to put yourself into a position to run for office. It was better to make love than resist the up and coming war in our own backyard, the ever growing size of government. Then, one morning we awoke and realized Government played a role in every aspect of our life. We pay taxes from the moment we get up in the morning to the moment we go to sleep at night. They can tell your teenage daughter it’s O.K. to get an abortion without telling a parent. They can even take away your land and cite “eminent domain”. And we threw our hands up and said “F it”. It’s nothing we can do, the government runs everything. And we stopped listening, we stopped paying attention, and we stopped holding politicians accountable for their actions. We allowed ourselves to be scared of the Government instead of making the Government scared of us. This is were it gets really scary.
From Apathy to Dependence
This is were we are right now. We were so indifferent and complacent, the first person to come along and promise us the pot at the end of the rainbow, we jumped. This once God loving nation is starting to worship the Government instead. The same God that gave our forefather’s the strength and courage to fight is being contested at every turn. God teaches us to rely on him and then on ourselves and the Government doesn’t like that. The now enormous Government, needs to keep feeding itself and it needs your complacency to do it. They need you to not care they are taking over private industry. They need you to look away while the let the printing press run. They need you to worry about Nancy Pelosi, while the Federal Reserve consolidates power. And there’s only one way that could happen, if you are dependent upon them. If you can’t keep your house without the Government, then you don’t care how they do it. If you can’t eat without the Government, you don’t care where your food comes from. If you can’t see a doctor without the Government, you don’t care how much it will cost future generations. We have become the nation of ME, Myself, and I and then anyone else that’s poor. They got us right were they want us, completely dependent on the Government to make the economy work, to solve our individual financial woes, and to just give us that tingly feeling. Guess what the last step is?
From Dependence to back into Bondage
This is what I don’t understand about America today. There was a time in our history where people were given jobs, houses, food, and healthcare. It was called SLAVERY! Master controlled everything about the lives of their slaves. They picked the winners and losers, the house nigga and the field nigga. They assualted those that would protest against their actions. They told their slaves when they could and couldn’t procreate. They picked which part of the pig the slaves got to eat. Now, the government is starting to enlist the same tactics. They pick which people can get their homes refinanced or modified. They pick which companies are to big to fail and which one’s aren’t worth saving. They release terror list for Americans, AMERICANS, that would question the direction of their country. And with Obama’s full support of Planned Parenthood and his plans for national healthcare, population control won’t be far behind. And we’re letting it happen. We are putting our heads in the sand and all our faith in a Man. A man that came from Chicago politics. A man that has an entire cabinet full of tax cheats and people who at one time or another have been under investigation. A man that down plays Christianity abroad and refuses to pray in front of a nation audience. We’ve passed the 200 year mark but we’re still progressing straight back to Bondage. The Government never gives up power. All the power the current Government is stacking will now be the norm, how can it get any bigger? It will and they will want more money to make it happen. But before they come after more money, they will come for our guns. Mark my words. The American people are different from those in the past. We will always believe in our right to protect ourselves. When the social spending fails and the Government is knocked down a peg, the people at the top will tell us it’s in our best interest to let them handle it. The question will be, will we go back to God and develop the Great Courage to bring our country back from the brink or will hold out our arms and allow the government to attach the chains?

My comments here exclude those men who have stepped forward with incredible courage since 1913 to face this tyrannical government, and like our Founding Fathers, have paid an enormous price both personally and financially.
Americans forget that the Founding Fathers were the "moneyed class" back then. They were farmers, merchants and men of means. They had a lot to lose, both in land and gold. Yet, they didn't hesitate to step forward against the most incredible odds to build a free nation, not just for themselves, but for their women and children.
My comments are directed at the men of this country, who over the past decades:
Sit back in their easy chair reading Newsweek or spend their time bare chested at a football game, well filled with suds to maintain those obscene beer bellies, while they have put their wives and children at risk. This nation is being invaded wholesale with illegal aliens who come into this country and kidnap, rape and murder our women and children. Some are caught, most are not. Why do the men turn a blind eye in pursuit of good times?
These same men will go vote for the same politicians, state or federal, over and over, who refuse to stop this massive invasion of our country putting their women and children at risk. These same men continue to idolize their party "leadership," while that same leadership refuses to stop this invasion of global riffraff, turning America into a third world dumping ground. These same men would rather spend time, not banding together and having a serious discussion with these politicians, but rather put on their expensive gear and go ride their bike up a mountain, see the latest Broadway show or take a day off work to stand in line to buy tickets to the new Star Wars flick. Why is this?
Today the men in this country sit around watching mindless trash like Survivor or Friends on the boob tube, instead of shouting down the roof against state and federal systems that are utterly and completely rotten beyond redemption. Systems and agencies that are putting their women and children into a state of involuntary servitude for all their lives. Instead they sit back with nary a whisper while state and federal judges to uphold this carnage against the people. Why is this?
Black robed judges continue to hand out welfare and benefits to illegal aliens who are legally entitled to nothing but deportation. Instead of holding their elected public servants accountable for this insanity, men just get up in the morning, go to work at the company store, then return home in the evening to their false sense of security. Why is this? Back in 1776, this breed of men would be called cowards.
Today men will spend endless hours with their stamp collection or at the bowling alley while Congress after Congress continues to pass unconstitutional legislation that deprives their women of their God-given rights - all because their "party" says it's good for our "democracy." Why is that?
Today men will ignore the documented truth that the state and federal governments are all in collusion to bring America into a one-world government, but they will believe any lie that comes out of the mouth of their favorite radio talk show host or TV anchorman. Today men are desperately clinging to their comfort zones while their women and children are at risk from a police state being erected around them. Why is this?
Today men will stand for hours on end feeding one-armed bandits in gambling casinos, while the Bush Administration's henchmen (Ashcroft and Mueller) continue to strip their women of their God-given rights, all in the name of "the war on terrorism." They are putting their children at risk by not demaning this government take the necessary measures to clean out the terrorists in this country, both Chinese and middle-Eastern. Why is this?
For decades, America's men think nothing of spending spend lots of money on music CDs or plunking down big bucks to attend concerts or jazz festivals instead of protecting their own families from state predators calling themselves "child protective services." Everyone with children is now a target. Why won't they band together and surround the state capitols and demand that this evil cease? Back in 1787, the men protected their women and children to the death.
For the older men, their grand children are targets of the state. But, these men have already served their country in the military and now it's time to spend their golden years in the Winnebago, they've done their part. After all, at Christmas they can show the grand children how much they love them by buying them "things" made in foreign countries. Why is this?
Today the men of this country will allow a sleezy, morally bankrupt individual like Bill Clinton get away with treason (selling our most sensitive national defense secrets to the Communist Chinese) because Clinton supports their women's "right" to kill their unborn babies. Back in 1854, this was unthinkable. Today, their blind loyalty is to their political party now instead of what's right. Why is this?
Today men think nothing of sitting down at the local bar every night during happy hour while their women and children are put at risk by agencies like the ATF and FBI making no knock, bust down the door on the wrong house raids, killing innocents inside. It's happened and it will continue to happen. A hundred years ago, this would not have been tolerated in a constitutional Republic because the men would not have stood for it, not for a minute.
While their women and children continue to live in a state of bondage to a tyrannical government, the men simply write checks to the RNC or the DNC, thus encouraging those scoundrels to stay on the same path of the planned destruction of this Republic. By writing a check instead of storming the gates, this gives those men more time for the golf course, doing recreational cocaine or surfing the Internet for countless hours enjoying that great "adult" American pastime called pornography. Their harmless pastime does put their women and children at risk out in society, but they no longer care. Why is this?
While the IRS bleeds a family dry, forcing the woman into the workplace and leaving the children to be raised by strangers, many of whom are pedophiles, the man of the house spends his free time doing the "guy thing" at a NASCAR speedway. Why is this? Why won't these men stand up to this rogue agency called the IRS?
Over the past 40 years, the men of this country have sat back and allowed themselves to be brow beaten into submission and castrated by so-called "feminists" like Rosie O'Donnell and Hillary Clinton (although I defy anyone to show me one single feminine attribute of those females) instead of stand up and saying, "Hell No!"
Hard core feminists aren't out there for equal pay, they're out there to destroy the male and the family unit. How it must gall them that the only way lesbians can "impregnate" their female lovers is artificial insemination by a male sperm.
Over the past 40 years the men of this country have put their material objects and addictions before the well being of the women and children by kowtowing to every special interest group in this country in the name of "political correctness" or for government hand outs. Our nation was built by men who were self-reliant, independent and strong. Today they are tolerant, sensitive and genuflect at the feet of perverts called "gays." Why is this?
The men of this country have laid down their arms in favor of political correctness, declaring open season for two-legged predators on their women and children. Instead of surrounding their state capitols armed to the teeth in defiance of such unconstitutional machinations on the part of cowardly and mentally impaired politicians, instead they grovel on their knees to the likes of Diane Feinstein. This sad state of affairs was unheard of in 1905. Why this inability to resist tyranny now?
PC is a cancer on this nation that has turned a Godly nation into a moral sewer. These men have put their children in harms way via mandatory social indoctrination in the anti-God public school system. Why is this?
The men of this country will go to extraordinary lengths to find the right fishing hole, but they refuse to lift a finger to ensure that their women and children will not be forced into global citizenship under the UN. Why is this?
The men of this country will sit in front of the computer playing games while women and children in different parts of this country are being driven off the land by Nazi-style federal agencies. So what if their fellow countryman will lose his land, his wife and children thrown out into the street? After all, those families in Klamath Falls and too many other places have nothing to do with these other men's lives, so why should they give up any of their free time to stand up to the government to help them? Why is this?
Women in this country spend hundreds of millions of dollars every year on "romance books" whose pages are filled with knights in shining armor and genuine heroes coming to rescue the damsel in distress. Why do you suppose that is?
Why do you suppose the men are allowing their women and children to be put at risk in all the ways described above?
Why are the women the ones out there on the front lines battling this government tooth and nail for our children - ready and willing to die if necessary to protect our own?

(CNSNews.com) – The Democrat-controlled Congress passed and President Barack Obama signed, a few days before Christmas, legislation to repeal the law against homosexuals serving in the military. Back in 1778, at Valley Forge, however, Gen. George Washington approved the dismissal of a soldier for “attempting to commit sodomy,” with “abhorrence and detestation of such infamous crimes,” according to Washington’s papers at the Library of Congress.
Washington (1732-1799) was the leader of the Continental Army in America’s revolutionary war against Britain and served as the first president of the United States and thus as its first “Commander in Chief” of the armed forces and the militia, as stipulated in the Constitution. Valley Forge, in eastern Pennsylvania, was the site for the Continental Army’s military camp during the winter of 1777-78.
On Mar. 10, 1778, at Valley Forge, Gen. George Washington approved the dismissal from service of Lt. Frederick Gotthold Enslin for “attempting to commit sodomy” with another soldier.
In the first president’s papers at the Library of Congress is a series of orders with the title, “Head Quarters, V. Forge, Saturday, March 14, 1778.” It includes the following entry,
“At a General Court Martial whereof Colo. Tupper was President (10th March 1778) Lieutt. [Frederick Gotthold] Enslin of Colo. Malcom's Regiment tried for attempting to commit sodomy, with John Monhort a soldier; Secondly, For Perjury in swearing to false Accounts, found guilty of the charges exhibited against him, being breaches of 5th. Article 18th. Section of the Articles of War and do sentence him to be dismiss'd the service with Infamy.
“His Excellency the Commander in Chief [George Washington] approves the sentence and with Abhorrence and Detestation of such Infamous Crimes orders Lieutt. Enslin to be drummed out of Camp tomorrow morning by all the Drummers and Fifers in theArmy never to return; The Drummers and Fifers to attend on the Grand Parade at Guard mounting for that Purpose.”
Enslin’s dismissal came less than two weeks after another soldier, Ensign Anthony Maxwell, was acquitted of the charge of “propagating a scandalous report prejudicial to the character of Lieutt. Enslin” on Feb. 27, 1778, according to the transcription of the court martial dated Mar. 3, 1778.
The document reads: “At a Brigade Court Martial whereof Colo. Burr was President (Feby. 27th. 1778,) Ensign Maxwell20 of Colo. Malcom's Regiment tried for propagating a scandalous report prejudicial to the character of Lieutt. Enslin.21 The Court after maturely deliberating upon the Evidence produced could not find that Ensign Maxwell had published any report prejudicial to the Character of Lieutt. Enslin further than the strict line of his duty required and do therefore acquit him of the Charge.”
“His Excellency the Commander in Chief approves the aforegoing sentences and orders Ensign Maxwell to be discharged from his Arrest …” the transcription states.

President Barack Obama signed the legislation repealing the federal law (10 USC 654) behind the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on Dec. 22, 2010. The Senate (65-31) had passed the repeal legislation on Dec. 18, and the House of Representatives had passed repeal on Dec. 15, 2010.
In introducing the president at the Dec. 22 signing ceremony, Vice President Joe Biden said, “It’s a good day. It’s a real good day. As some of my colleagues can tell you, this is a long time in coming. But I am happy it’s here. … Mr. President, by signing this bill, you will be linking military might with an abiding sense of justice. You’ll be projecting power by promoting fairness, and making the United States military as strong as they can be at a time we need it to be the strongest. U.S. official opposes wild-horse slaughter for food

Bureau of Land Management chief Bob Abbey tells a conference that his agency plans to give mares birth control instead.
Reporting from Las Vegas — Slaughtering wild horses for food isn't a viable option for thinning herds that have strained public lands throughout the West, the federal Bureau of Land Management director told supporters of horse processing plants Tuesday.
Instead, the agency plans to give mares birth control in hopes of diminishing the need for controversial horse roundups, Bob Abbey said at the Summit of the Horse conference in Las Vegas. The BLM, he said, also will continue promoting adoption and seeking locations to place captured horses other than its holding pens.
"Make no mistake, they deserve to be treated the best way that we can treat them," Abbey told dozens of people who support the opening of a horse processing plant in Wyoming.
Horse trainer Dave Duquette, the president of conference sponsor United Horsemen, dismissed the BLM's view as shortsighted and a waste of government dollars.
"What's palatable to public opinion and what needs to happen are two different things," he said after Abbey's hourlong appearance.
In a sign of how touchy the long-running debate has become, Abbey's presence at what critics called the "horse slaughter summit" incensed activists who laud the animals as icons of the American West.
The BLM, said Abbey, is obliged to talk to various stakeholders in the debate, including those suspicious of the agency, which they regard as an ineffective landlord of federal lands.
With virtually no natural predators, about 38,000 wild horses and burros have been galloping across 10 Western states — thousands more than the land can handle, the BLM said. Most are scattered across Nevada, where Abbey was formerly the agency's state director.
For years, the BLM has run "horse gathers," in which tens of thousands of animals have been captured and transferred to holding areas — a labor-intensive and costly process. Wyoming rancher Sue Wallis, United Horsemen's vice president, has derided the effort as a "welfare entitlement program for horses."
Some horses have been adopted, though that number has dwindled because of the economy, Abbey said. In 2008, the BLM considered euthanasia as a possible remedy, but later backed off amid public outrage. Wild-horse advocates found the prospect of slaughtering horses for food equally offensive.
Those who "wish to profit from the butchering of America's horses must find another way to earn a living," said Suzanne Roy of the American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign in a statement.

WE ARE OFTEN REMINDED that the Korean War ended not with a formal peace treaty, but rather with an armistice. And indeed, that is an irrefutable fact. But it is not true that the absence of a formal peace treaty is an impediment to peace in Korea. The signing of such a treaty between the United States and North Korea today would not facilitate, let alone guarantee, genuine peace or denuclearization on the Korean peninsula. To believe that it would can only be the result of a fundamental misreading of the North Korean regime, both in terms of its nature and of its strategic intent.
It was on July 27, 1953, that the armistice bringing the Korean War to an end was signed. The war ended without a clear victor and with the Korean peninsula divided more or less along the same lines as at the beginning of the war on June 25, 1950. Despite the lack of a final resolution, the armistice made possible a long peace in Northeast Asia and planted the seeds of South Korea’s freedom and prosperity.
In North Korea, on the other hand, July 27 has a different meaning. The date is referred to as the day of “Victory in Fatherland Liberation War,” and Pyongyang commemorates each year “the anniversary of the great victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War.” North Korea considers it a reminder of the unfinished business of communizing the entire Korean peninsula—or, in the words of North Korea’s Communist Party Charter, “the accomplishment of the revolutionary goals of national liberation and the people’s democracy on the entire area of the country.” The war may have ended in 1953, but the North Korean revolution rages on. This fact helps explain the fundamental geopolitical dynamic on the peninsula.
In this light, consider North Korea’s repeated demand for a peace treaty with the United States. What explains its insistence on signing such a treaty with its “vanquished” foe? The answer is self-evident: to realize its goal of evicting U.S. forces from South Korea. Ever since North Korea joined the World Health Organization in 1973 and opened a diplomatic mission in New York the following year, it has been proposing bilateral peace negotiations with Washington. Of course, this didn’t stop it from sending assassins to kill South Korean President Park Chung Hee or kidnapping South Korean fishermen. Why would a nation that claims to seek peace engage in such war-like activities? The answer is that North Korea is not seeking peace, but rather a change in the military balance of power on the Korean peninsula. In addition, North Korea regularly makes threats against the U.S., its ostensible future partner in peace. Why? Because Pyongyang sees itself as the party wielding the carrots and sticks in order to cajole and coerce its adversaries, Washington and Seoul. In other words, North Korea acts upon its own strategy. It does not merely react to signals coming out of Washington or Seoul, no matter how “diplomatic” they may be.
I grant that it is possible a peace treaty might be conducive to reconciliation between the two Koreas and stability in the region; but this will be the case only if it does not lead to calls for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea. What is more likely is that such a treaty would cause all sides—not only North Koreans, but South Koreans and Americans, too—to question the need for a continued U.S. presence in Korea. And this would in turn advance a top priority of the North Korean state: the complete and irreversible removal of U.S. troops from South Korea. Considering the size of North Korea’s military and its stocks of both conventional and nuclear weapons, the results would likely be disastrous.
The presence of U.S. troops in South Korea has been and remains the greatest deterrent to North Korean adventurism and a disruption of the current and longstanding peace on the Korean peninsula. And to repeat an important point: the absence of a formal peace treaty no more threatens this peace than the absence of a post-World War Two peace treaty between Moscow and Tokyo threatens the peace between Russia and Japan.
But does Korea even matter, from America’s strategic point of view? Consider the lessons of four other wars in and around Korea in the 60-year period leading up to 1950: the First Sino-Japanese War (1894-95), the First Russo-Japanese War (1904-05), the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-45), and the Pacific War (1941-45). In each of these, Japan was the principal actor, driven by a desire to change the geopolitical setting in its favor. And taken together, these earlier conflicts powerfully reinforce the lesson of the Korean War itself: a power vacuum in Korea is an invitation to aggression.
By defeating China in 1895, Japan won Taiwan as its first colony and effectively ended the centuries-old Chinese world order. By defeating Russia in 1905, Japan won international recognition of its “paramount political, military and economic interests in Korea,” as enshrined in the Treaty of Portsmouth. By 1937, Japan was in full control of its Korean colony and prepared to utilize the Korean peninsula as a supply base and military platform for invading China. Lacking strategic interests in Northeast Asia, the U.S. stood by as Japan gobbled up Korea and advanced into Manchuria. But Japan’s military successes peaked at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, and it was defeated in August 1945. By then, the geopolitical importance of Korea was not lost on the victorious allies, who partitioned the peninsula at the 38th Parallel.
The United States, in control of defeated Japan and the southern half of liberated Korea, now emerged as the key shaper of geopolitics in Northeast Asia. But after governing South Korea from 1945 to 1948, and despite lingering misgivings about North Korea’s intentions, the U.S. began to withdraw troops from the South. By the summer of 1949, it had returned to a policy of benign neglect. At this point Kim Il Sung—father of the current North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il—took advantage of the power vacuum and launched an invasion of the South. This attempt to unify the Korean peninsula under communist control was thwarted by a multinational coalition led by the United States, and South Korea was saved.
In the 57 years since the armistice, North Korea has time and again shown its willingness to take considerable risks to turn the strategic environment in its favor. The sinking of the Cheonan, a South Korean naval ship, in March of this year, and the bombing of a South Korean island on November 23, are but the latest in a long history of deadly attacks. But today the North Korean regime faces its most serious internal political challenges in nearly 20 years: severe economic stresses, the increasing infiltration of information, higher numbers of its citizens attempting to defect to the South, and the challenge of handing over dynastic power from a long-ruling father to an unproven son in his twenties.
This uncertain situation presents a rare opportunity for policymakers in Washington, Seoul, and Tokyo to bring about changes in the North Korean regime and ensure peace and stability in the region. Engaging the North Korean people—rather than the regime—by means of information operations and facilitating defections, while simultaneously constricting Pyongyang’s cash flow, is the best means to that end. It’s also important for Washington to hold quiet consultations with Beijing to prepare jointly for a unified Korea under Seoul’s direction, a new polity that will be free, peaceful, capitalist, pro-U.S. and pro-China.
In an Orwellian world, “war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength.” In the North Korean world, the past 57 years of de facto peace is war, a life of servitude to the state is freedom, and national strength is rooted in ignorance of the outside world. Today, as trouble is once again brewing on the Korean peninsula, we would do well to remember the noble resolve of those who fought back the North Korean invasion in 1950-53 and the precious gift they left behind: an extended period of peace and a free and prosperous South Korea. Those courageous soldiers taught us that deterrence is peace, freedom is not free, and that to remember the past is a mark of national character and strength.
The great and noble efforts of Americans in the Korean War, the legacy of a 60-year friendship between the U.S. and South Korea, and U.S. strategic interests should not now be sacrificed on the altar of diplomatic peace. Now is rather the time for prudent and pragmatic policymakers to pave the way for a permanent peace on the Korean peninsula, and, in doing so, to pay the greatest honor possible to all those who served in a war—often referred to by historians as “The Forgotten War”—that is decidedly forgotten no more.
Top 10 list of Obama administration insults against Israel in just 15 months
1. Obama’s humiliation of Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House
In March, the Israeli Prime Minister was humiliated by Barack Obama when he visited Washington. As The Telegraph reported, “Benjamin Netanyahu was left to stew in a White House meeting room for over an hour after President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of tense talks to have supper with his family”, after being presented with a list of 13 demands. As I wrote at the time:
This is no way to treat America’s closest ally in the Middle East, and a true friend of the United States. I very much doubt that even third world tyrants would be received in such a rude fashion by the president. In fact, they would probably be warmly welcomed by the Obama White House as part of its “engagement” strategy, while the leaders of Britain and Israel are frequently met with arrogant disdain.
2. Engaging Iran when Tehran threatens a nuclear Holocaust against Israel
In contrast to its very public humiliation of close ally Israel, the Obama administration has gone out of its way to establish a better relationship with the genocidal regime of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, which continues to threaten Israel’s very existence. It has taken almost every opportunity to appease Tehran since it came to office, and has been extremely slow to respond to massive human rights violations by the Iranian regime, including the beating, rape and murder of pro-democracy protesters.
3. Drawing a parallel between Jewish suffering in the Holocaust with the current plight of the Palestinians
In his Cairo speech to the Muslim world, President Obama condemned Holocaust denial in the Middle East, but compared the murder of six million Jews during World War Two to the “occupation” of the Palestinian territories, in a disturbing example of moral equivalence:
“On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people – Muslims and Christians – have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. For more than sixty years they have endured the pain of dislocation. Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations – large and small – that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own.”
4. Obama’s attack on Israeli “occupation” in his speech to the United Nations
In his appalling speech to the UN General Assembly last September, President Obama dedicated five paragraphs to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, without once referring directly to Palestinian terrorism by name, but declaring to loud applause “America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.” He also lambasted the Israeli “occupation”, and drew a connection between rocket attacks on Israeli civilians with living conditions in Gaza. The speech served as a ghastly PR exercise aimed at appeasing anti-Israel sentiment in the Middle East, while bashing the Israelis over the head.
5. Obama’s accusation that Israel is the cause of instability in the Middle East
As The Wall Street Journal noted, “the Obama Administration seems increasingly of the view that Israel is the primary cause of instability in the Middle East”, citing a recent press conference where he stated:
“It is a vital national security interest of the United States to reduce these conflicts because whether we like it or not, we remain a dominant military superpower, and when conflicts break out, one way or another we get pulled into them. And that ends up costing us significantly in terms of both blood and treasure.”
6. The Obama administration’s establishment of diplomatic relations with Syria
While actively appeasing Iran, the Obama administration has also sought to develop closer ties with the other main state sponsor of terrorism in the Middle East, Syria, establishing diplomatic relations with Damascus in February. Syria remains a major backer of Hamas and Hizbollah, both responsible for a large number of terrorist attacks against Israel.
As The Telegraph reported, Hillary Clinton sought to dictate terms to Israel in the wake of Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Jerusalem:
“In a telephone call, Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, ordered Mr. Netanyahu to reverse a decision to build 1,600 homes for Israeli settlers in occupied East Jerusalem that sparked the diplomatic row. She also instructed him to issue a formal pledge that peace talks would focus on core issues such as the future of Jerusalem and the borders of a Palestinian state. In addition, the Israeli prime minister was urged to make a substantial confidence-building gesture to the Palestinians. Mrs. Clinton suggested this could take the form of prisoner releases, an easing of the blockade of Gaza and the transfer of greater territory in the West Bank to Palestinian control.”
Last time I checked, Israel was still an independent country, and not a colonial dependency of the Obama White House. Yet that still hasn’t stopped the Secretary of State from acting like an imperial Viceroy.
8. David Axelrod’s attack on Israeli settlements on “Meet the Press”
It is extremely unusual for a White House official to launch an attack on a close US ally on live television, but this is exactly what the President’s Senior Adviser David Axelrod did in an interview in March with NBC’s Meet the Press, designed to cause maximum humiliation to Israel, where he stated in reference to new settlement construction in East Jerusalem:
“This was an affront, it was an insult but most importantly it undermined this very fragile effort to bring peace to that region. For this announcement to come at that time was very destructive.”
9. Hillary Clinton’s call on Israel to show “respect”
As The Telegraph revealed, the Secretary of State lectured the Israelis at a dinner attended by the Israeli ambassador and the ambassadors of several Arab states in mid-April, urging Israel to “refrain from unilateral statements” that could “undermine trust or risk prejudicing the outcome of talks”. In Clinton’s words:
“Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu has embraced the vision of the two-state solution. But easing up on access and movement in the West Bank, in response to credible Palestinian security performance, is not sufficient to prove to the Palestinians that this embrace is sincere. We encourage Israel to continue building momentum toward a comprehensive peace by demonstrating respect for the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinians, stopping settlement activity and addressing the humanitarian needs in Gaza.”
10. Robert Gibbs’ disparaging remarks about Israel
Not one to shy away from criticizing America’s friends when the opportunity arises, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs entered the fray in an interview on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace in March where he attacked the Israeli government for weakening “the trust that’s needed for both sides to come together and have honest discussions about peace in the Middle East.” In condescending terms he stated that Benjamin Netanyahu should start “coming to the table with constructive ideas for constructive and trustful dialogue about moving the peace process forward.”

Tax collectors were "more terrible than the enemy."
Rome was crippled by huge government bureaucracies and enormous public debt. There recently was a death of a 98 year-old lady named Irena. During WWII, Irena, got permission to work in the Warsaw ghetto, as a Plumbing/Sewer specialist. She had an 'ulterior motive'. She KNEW what the Nazi's plans were for the Jews (being German). Irena smuggled infants out in the bottom of the tool box she carried and she carried in the back of her truck a burlap sack, (for larger kids).
She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers of course wanted nothing to do with the dog and the barking covered the kids/infants noises.
During her time of doing this, she managed to smuggle out and save 2500 kids/infants. She was caught, and the Nazi's broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely.
Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar, buried under a tree in her back yard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived it and reunited the family. Most had been gassed. Those kids she helped got placed into foster family homes or adopted. Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize. She was not selected. Al Gore won --- for a slide show on Global Warming

On the flip side...Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dallas TX
So tell me again, why do we need to pass the new healthcare bill again? Sounds like they're already getting what they need. What this tells me is that we have already lost our country because it is too late to turn this around.
Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is a fairly famous institution and for a variety of reasons:
1. John F. Kennedy died there in 1963
2. Lee Harvey Oswald died there shortly after
3. Jack Ruby-who killed Lee Harvey Oswald, died there a few years later...by coincidence
On the flip side, Parkland is also home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That's almost 44 per day---every day)
A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants. That's 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas
According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.
The average patient in Parkland is maternity wards is 25 years old, married and giving birth to her second child. She is also an illegal immigrant. By law, pregnant women cannot be denied medical care based on their immigration status or ability to pay.
OK, fine. That doesn't mean they should receive better care than everyday, middle-class American citizens. But at Parkland Hospital, they do. " Parkland Memorial Hospital has nine prenatal clinics. NINE.
The Dallas Morning News article followed a Hispanic woman who was a patient at one of the clinics and pregnant with her third child---her previous two were also born at Parkland. Her first two deliveries were free and the Mexican native was grateful because it would have cost $200 to have them in Mexico. This time, the hospital wants her to pay $10 per visit and $100 for the delivery but she was unsure if she could come up with the money. Not that it matters, the hospital won't turn her away. (I wonder why they even bother asking at this point.)
"How long has this been going on? What are the long-term effects?
Well, another subject of the article was born at Parkland in 1986 shortly after her mother entered the US illegally - now she is having her own child there as well. (That's right, she's technically a US citizen.)
These women receive free prenatal care including medication, nutrition, birthing classes and child care classes. They also get freebies such as car seats, bottles, diapers and formula.
Most of these things are available to American citizens as well but only for low-income applicants and even then, the red tape involved is almost insurmountable.
Because these women are illegal immigrants, they do not have to provide any sort of legitimate identification - no proof of income. An American citizen would have to provide a social security number which would reveal their annual income - an illegal immigrant need only claim to be poor and the hospital must take them at their word.
Parkland Hospital offers indigent care to Dallas County residents who earn less than $40,000 per year. (They also have to prove that they did not refuse health coverage at their current job. Yeah, the 'free' care is not so easy for Americans.)
There are about 140 patients who received roughly $4 million dollars for un-reimbursed medical care. As it turns out, they did not qualify for free treatment because they resided outside of Dallas County so the hospital is going to sue them! Illegals get it all free! But U.S. citizens who live outside of Dallas County get sued! How stupid is this?
As if that isn't annoying enough, the illegal immigrant patients are actually complaining about hospital staff not speaking Spanish. In this AP story, the author speaks with a woman who is upset that she had to translate comments from the hospital staff into Spanish for her husband. The doctor was trying to explain the situation to the family and the mother was forced to translate for her husband who only spoke Spanish. This was apparently a great injustice to her.
In an attempt to create a Spanish-speaking staff, Parkland Hospital is now providing incentives in the form of extra pay for applicants who speak Spanish. Additionally, medical students at the University of Texas Southwestern for which Parkland Hospital is the training facility will now have a Spanish language requirement added to their already jammed-packed curriculum. No other school in the country boasts such a ridiculous multi-semester (multicultural) requirement.

Remember that this is about only ONE hospital in Dallas, Texas. There are many more hospitals across our country that must also deal with this.

Notable is that all these states are in the West (except Alaska, which strictly speaking is also a western state, albeit northwestern). Also notable is the contrast between the highest and the lowest percentages of federal land ownership. The US government owns a whopping 84.5% of Nevada, but only a puny 0.4% of Rhode Island and Connecticut. The lowest-percentage states are mainly in the East, but some are also in the Midwest and in the South:

Even the 10th place is still below the two percent mark. One territory is not specified on the map: Washington D.C. It would be more correct to state that the District of Columbia by default falls under the direct tutelage of the Federal Government.

Respect the Office ? Yes. Respect the Man in the Office? No, I am sorry to say. I have noted that many elected officials, both Democrats and Republicans, called upon America to unite behind Obama.
Well, I want to make it clear to all who will listen that I AM NOT uniting behind Obama ! I will respect the Office which he holds, and I will acknowledge his abilities as an orator and wordsmith and pray for him, BUT that is it.
I have begun to see what I can do to make sure that he is a one-term President ! Why am I doing this ? It is because:
- I do not share Obama's vision or value system for America ; - I do not share his Abortion beliefs; - I do not share his radical Marxist's concept of re-distributing wealth; - I do not share his stated views on raising taxes on those who make $150,000+ (the ceiling has been changed three times since August); - I do not share his view that America is Arrogant; - I do not share his view that America is not a Christian Nation; - I do not share his view that the military should be reduced by 25%; - I do not share his view of amnesty and giving more to illegals than our American Citizens who need help; - I do not share his views on homosexuality and his definition of marriage; - I do not share his views that Radical Islam is our friend and Israel is our enemy who should give up any land; - I do not share his spiritual beliefs (at least the ones he has made public); - I do not share his beliefs on how to re-work the healthcare system in America ; - I do not share his Strategic views of the Middle East and - I certainly do not share his plan to sit down with terrorist regimes such as Iran .
Bottom line: my America is vastly different from Obama's, and I have a higher obligation to my Country and my GOD to do what is Right

As for Health Care Reform and Town Halls?
The underlying assumption by both major political parties is that government at every level has the right to be involved in the private lives of American citizens. The behaviors we've seen exhibited by both political parties at these town hall events is their propensity for ordering their fellow citizens around as if we were chattel. They've been treating American citizens as if we were slaves, or serfs and peasants, at best. You cannot honestly expect Americas of any ideology or demographic to sit still for such abuse, can you? If you do expect perfect submission to political authority in America, you prove that you know nothing of the Spirit that is America, nor do you possess any knowledge of its history.
What you and your colleagues around the nation have overlooked is that the push-back you're getting on the issue is, at heart, about getting government out of the private lives of American citizens. Personally, I think the political class in America has over-reached and has grossly under-estimated the American people. There are certain principles of freedom which are virtually a part of our DNA. In America, whatever the political party or ideology, there are certain lines in the sand that Shall. Not. Be. Crossed. Health Care Reform in America is not the issue or the bottom line. It is merely the final straw. Americans are simply not going to take it any more.
The American people are speaking to you. Are you listening?
You, the political and social leaders of America have started that which you have always claimed to fear or else claimed that it just can't happen in America. The rhetoric and sophistry you've employed for your own temporary and personal gain has gone too far. You, the corrupt and dishonorable denizens of both political parties, have inflamed the masses beyond forbearance. You insult them continually and place economic, political and social burdens upon them which are beyond the pale.
You've ignored your Oaths and you've ignored not only the founding documents of this nation, but even principles upon which those documents are founded. You've gotten rich, or have hoped to become rich, on the backs of your fellow citizens. You've violated their trust and you've spent their money like a drunken sailor on shore leave. You demand ever more sacrifice from them in order to support your personal addictions to greed, ambition and power. You demand that they sacrifice their wages, their properties and their liberties so that you can enjoy 'junkets' to exotic locations. You offer invitations to parties and gatherings that only the corrupt and powerful can afford to attend. You coddle our enemies and consort with liars and thieves. You insult our friends and encourage violence against them.
Americans all over the nation have said, "Enough!" Yet, you continue to insult your fellow citizens at every turn and with every breath. You use them, abuse them, steal from them, and then falsely accuse them of the most heinous of crimes and deeds in a poor attempt to cover for your own incompetence and sociopathic behaviors. Is it any wonder that Americans are angry at you?
There is yet time to reconsider your positions. There is yet time to change what you have said and done. There is yet time to stop the violence that is now almost all but inevitable. It is a violence that your own rhetoric, sophistry and deeds has engendered. You have one last opportunity to prevent that which you have said in your hearts can never happen in America. Use that opportunity wisely. Use it now, while you still can...or as the social and political leaders of America, the blood of tens of thousands, perhaps even millions, of innocent Americans will be upon your heads. You have led us all to this point in history. It is up to you to lead us away from it...if you will.
As for those of you who affiliated with any political party or ideology, that believes that government has any right whatsoever to do interfere with the private lives of American citizens, whether you are Republican, Democrat, liberal, conservative or even “other,” I have only one thing to say to you:
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom" go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!"

One of the things that wears on people is, these bailouts, and stimulus packages that the citizens as tax payers are footing the bill for these big corporations, just to keep them from falling, makes one wonder why? We say, “Let them fail”. If this were you or I, we would have to put a lock on the door and call it quits. We would never see any help from our government. Our elected officials would rather give bailouts, and stimulus packages, with air marks inside, then attend to the American people. The Senators and House of Representatives are acting like terrorist, similar to the Taliban. There is a huge difference between the military enlisted oath and the officer oath of office.
The wordings of the current oath of enlistment and oath for commissioned officers are as follows:
Enlisted Oath
"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).
Officer Oath -
"I, _____ (SSAN), having been appointed an officer in the Army of the United States, as indicated above in the grade of _____ do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office upon which I am about to enter; So help me God." (DA Form 71, 1 August 1959, for officers.)
As you can see, the officer does not swear to obey the orders of the President. We only have an obligation to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic (for example, a Presidential Usurper).
Our forefathers were so brilliant to foresee a situation like we find ourselves in now. The officer oath is a safeguard to protect the Constitution against a corrupt elected government. Officers only have an obligation to defend the Constiution. Military officers have a lot of legal clout when it comes to Constitutional matters. The officer oath does not mention following the UCMJ laws as does the enlisted oath.

The recent budget battle for public consumption brought out high political theater and the usual well fed herds of bovine shouting their ignorance for all the world to see. Some of the loudest manure defecated by the vast herds of cattle focused on making sure the Outlaw Congress continues to fund murdering unborn babies and "women's issues" was propped up by males who lie through their teeth
