this is ANOTHER SAD DAY FOR AMERICA
This bill (as Bachmann describes it) sets up a 5-member Panel (with an ACORN-like entity on it) that prevents the president from having to go to Congress to obtain money for BailOuts or any decisions having to do with the Financial Sector. It makes him autonomous with the assistance of this Board. This Board will control the flow of cash/credit throughout the US Economy. The bill was dropped by Barney Frank Monday (1300 pages) and passed today – Friday.

Gas rationing in the 70's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even have been good for us!
Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices.
Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit?
An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS.. Every time you fill up your car you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia . Just purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.
Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want me, my family and my friends dead. The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:
Shell...................................... 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco..................... 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil............................. 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway............. 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco................................... 62,231,000 barrels
CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction!
(We pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)
The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep buying their product.
Here are some large companies THAT DO NOT import Middle Eastern oil:

BP / Phillips................... 0 barrels

Murphy Oil USA* ......... 0 Sold at Wal-Mart , gas is from South Arkansas and fully USA owned and produced.
*Not only that but they give scholarships to all children in their town who finish high school and are legal US citizens..
All of this information is available from the U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.
But to have a real impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers With the help of the internet, it's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!
I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at only ten more (30 x 10 = 300)....and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)......and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!
If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it....THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE-the entire population of the United States of America !

WHERE IS ALL THE OIL?...HERE IN THE U.S.A.!!!
"I am going to ask you a direct
question and I would like a direct answer, how much oil does
the U.S. have in the ground." Forbes did not miss a
beat, he said, "more than all the Middle East put
together." Please read below.
The U. S.
Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) that
only scientists and oil men knew was coming, but man was it
big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated
since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the
western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota;
and extreme eastern Montana .... check THIS out:
The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since
Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to
eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy
Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion
barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at
$107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth
more than $5.3 trillion.
'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could
practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no
idea..' says Terry Johnson, the Montana
Legislature's financial analyst.
'This sizable
find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found
in the past 56 years' reports, The Pittsburgh Post
Gazette. It's a formation known as the Williston
Basin , but is more commonly referred to as the
'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern
Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada . For
years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end.
Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching
for major oil wel ls decades ago. However, a recent
technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's
massive reserves.... and we now have access of up to 500
billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil,
those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER
BARREL!
That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy
for 2041 years straight.
2. And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this
next one should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO!
Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky
Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the
world. It is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August
8, 2005 President Bush mandated its extraction. In three and
a half years of high oil prices none has been extracted.
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil
inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on
earth. Here are the official estimates:
- 8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
- 18-times as much oil as Iraq
- 21-times as much oil as Kuwait
- 22-times as much oil as Iran
- 500-times as much oil as Yemen
- and it's all right here in the Western United States
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this?
Because the environmentalists and others have blocked all efforts to
help America become independent of foreign oil! Again, we
are letting a small group of people dictate our lives and
our economy.....WHY?
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've
got more oil in this very compact area than the entire
Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels untapped.
That's more than all the proven oil reserves of
crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.
Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even
with this find? Think again! It's all about
the competitive marketplace, - it has to. Think OPEC just
might be funding the environmentalists?
